LIFEbox started with one simple belief: everyone deserves the chance to experience something new.
Why I built LIFEbox
I'm a student at Clemson University, and my time here has been shaped by the people I've met through the ClemsonLIFE program — a community dedicated to supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Seeing their joy, creativity, and determination made me want to build something that extends that same spirit into homes everywhere.
LIFEbox is my answer to a gap I saw again and again: incredible people with far too few opportunities built for them to actually participate in. Every box is a complete, ready-to-go experience where life skills — planning, communicating, hosting, creating — are learned naturally through doing. No prep, no hunting for supplies, no guesswork. Open the box and the experience begins.

Our promise
- Every box is designed to be done, not just opened.
- One activity for everyone — caregivers adjust the support, not the experience.
- Life skills are woven naturally into every experience.
- Tested and loved by individuals and their families.
What we stand for
Participation over passivity
Screens are easy. We design for hands, voices, and people in the same room.
Dignity in every detail
Age-respectful materials and language — never babyish, never watered down.
Support for the supporters
Caregivers get clear guidance so the experience is fun for them too.
